Subject: Canceled Club Events
Dear Friends,
Your Trustees assembled last Wednesday night for the March Trustees meeting. After careful deliberation, the Trustees unanimously decided to cancel all Club sponsored events through early April. Our concern is for the safety of our Members, their families, and our community at large.
The following Club events are CANCELED:
- March 21 – 10 AM to 1 PM – Sailors’ Brunch
- March 21 – 1 PM – Barn Cleaning
- March 26 – 6 PM to 7 PM – Closed Shelter Committee Meeting
- March 26 – 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM – Membership Meeting
- March 28 – 5:30 PM to 8 PM – Soup and Side Event
- March 30 – 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM – Membership Committee Meeting
- April 1 – 6 PM to 9 PM – Wednesday Night Supper Club
- April 4 – 1 PM to 4 PM – Easter Egg Hunt and Party
Private Parties (reservations)
The Trustees will continue to allow private parties. Our members will have to carefully assess the risks associated with hosting a private party and decide if they wish to proceed.
Club Usage
Our Club remains open and our Members may continue to enjoy our facilities and beautiful grounds. While visiting the Club, we would ask that our Members take steps to protect themselves and their friends. The CDC recommends the following:
- Clean your hands often.
- Avoid close contact.
- Stay home if you are sick.
- Cover coughs and sneezes.
- Wear a facemask if you are sick.
- Clean and disinfect.

March Membership Meeting
Instead of assembling our Membership for our monthly meeting, the Officers will report all pertinent information via email to our Members. This will include minutes from our February Membership meeting and monthly Treasurer’s report.
At the time of this correspondence, the Trustees plan on Meeting for our regular scheduled April 8th Trustees meeting. We will discuss the Coronavirus outbreak in our community and its impact on future Club events. We will notify our members of the results of our meeting in a timely manner. Stay tuned…
