Dear Member Friends,
I am hopeful to find that you and your loved ones are healthy and well.
Today’s correspondence is a little different than normal since I am directly soliciting the assistance of our Officers, Trustees and Members. I am asking our Members to help protect our community by lending a needed hand to our Trumbull County government.
I have been working with Trumbull County Commissioner, Frank Fuda, and Chief Snyder. We have had several in-depth conversations in regard to how our Members might be able to assist our community in preparing for an impending storm. The county government employees are working around the clock and any assistance is desperately needed. This is an opportunity to assist our county professionals organize and deliver vital community services.
Calling all Volunteers
Working with Chief Snyder, we have identified the following areas where Emergency Management needs immediate volunteers:
- Secretarial/Administrative Assistant
- Document Control/Retention
- Accounting/Bookkeeping
- Timekeeping Reporting
- Procurement/Purchasing
- Logistics
- Warehousing/Shipping and Receiving
- Social Media
With the exception of Warehousing/Shipping and Receiving, most of the above duties could be conducted remotely, from the comfort of your own home. All that would be required is a desktop/laptop computer and an internet connection. I have been assured by Chief Snyder in the event that interaction be required, Emergency Management is committed to providing a safe environment and that safe distancing protocols will be practiced.
If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, please contact me via email at [email protected]. Upon better understanding your interests and skills, I will connect you with the appropriate county employee.
I am always proud of our Members and their willingness to serve our community. Together, we can make a difference. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Randy Cox – President
